Biographical Sketch:

Mohammad Najeeb Azizi earned his Ph.D from Okayama University, Japan.The theme of my Ph.D research is Development Trends in Afghanistan and Role of Foreign Aid in the Post Taliban Government.He completed his Masters in Economics from International Islamic University and Post Graduate Diploma in Development and Policy Analysis from the United Kingdom.His research interest mainly lies in underdeveloped countries, transitional and post conflict countries, Analysis of poverty and income inequalities, welfare economy and social choices, economic liberalization, and the study of foreign aid, democratization & institution building etc. He has served the:Government of Afghanistan as Macroeconomist and Acting Director General of Budget, Kabul University and American Univeristy of Afghanistan as Visiting Faculty, World Bank as Economic Consultant, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as Senior Aid Coordinator, Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees (DACAAR) as Researcher.
