Monika Blaszkiewicz-Schwartzman Ms

Biographical Sketch:

I am a macroeconomist, with close to three years of working experience at the Polish Ministry of Finance at the Department of Financial Policy, Analysis and Statistics. I also have experience in applied macroeconomic research though my association with the Polish research institute, CASE, since 2000. Additional work experience includes consultancies to the World Bank, the Polish Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Poland. At the moment I am about to complete my PhD thesis at the Economics Department at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Between 2003 and 2004 I was a visiting researcher at Georgetown University in Washington DC, US where I audited various economic courses. I attained my Masters degrees in Economics and International Economics at Warsaw and Sussex Universities.

Primary Research Focus:

European economic and monetary integration, financial crisis, applied econometrics and DSGE modeling.
