Biographical Sketch:
I am a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis, where I conduct research on environmental and resource economics and teach environmental economics, natural resource economics, and development economics and the environment. I received my M.Phil. and D.Phil. in economics from University of Oxford, England. Before joining UC Davis in 1996, I was an economist at the World Bank, and held visiting and faculty positions at the economics departments of American University, Georgetown University, and University of Surrey, England. |
