Biographical Sketch:
Ibukun Beecroft is a Doctoral Student and Researcher in the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Covenant University, Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Covenant University and an M.Sc. in Finance and Development from SOAS, University of London, United Kingdom. She previously worked with the Office for National Statistics, London, United Kingdom as well as with Zenith International Bank Plc., Lagos, Nigeria. She has won various research and travel grants to conduct economic research, one of such is: More Trade, More Protection: Insights and Implications of the Unending Contradiction, 2012, funded by the Centre for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), United Kingdom, in collaboration with GTA and ACET. Her research also won first place in the FLACSO-WTO Chairs Award, 2012. She is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Environment, Development and Sustainability. Her research interests include Public Finance, International Economies and Economic Development. |
