Biographical Sketch:
Adefemi is currently a postdoctoral research fellow and an ad-hoc lecturer in the School of
Accounting, Economics and Finance at University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He held a
Graduate Assistant position at the Benue State University, Nigeria during the 2011/2012 academic session. Until joining UKZN in an ad-hoc capacity, Adefemi worked as a Finance lecturer in the
Department of Finance at Ekiti State University, Nigeria.
Adefemi obtained his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His research interests
are focused on financial economics, particularly the time-series analysis of financial market
return in emerging African markets. Adefemi has published in accredited journals, supervised
postgraduate thesis, reviewed manuscripts for top journals and collaborated with researchers in
the discipline of Finance, Accounting and Economics, amongst others |
