Biographical Sketch:
I was a faculty member at the University of Essex during 1978-2004, and since 2002 hold the Vandeveer Chair in Economics at the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. My reserach interests are in the areas of International trade, development economics, and environmental polcies. I have recently written book with professor Yoshiyasu Ono of Osaka University (Trade and Industrial Policy under International Oligopoly, Cambridge University Press, 2004). |
