Biographical Sketch:
Professor Michael P. Devereux is the Director of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation. He is a Research Fellow of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) and of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He is Research Director of the European Tax Policy Forum, editor-in-chief of International Tax and Public Finance, and member of the European Economic Advisory Group of CESifo. Prior to Oxford, he was professor of economics and chair of the economics department at the Universities of Warwick and Keele. His research interests have primarily been concerned with the impact of different forms of taxation on the behaviour of economic agents, in particular business; for example, the impact of taxation on corporate investment and dividend policy, and the location decisions of multinationals. |
