He is also a PhD Research Fellow in the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research areas include the applications of modeling (linear and nonlinear), forecasting and bootstrapping procedures in the foreign and stock exchange markets. His research articles have been published in international journals such as Economics Bulletin (USA), Applied Economics (UK), Economics Letters (USA), the Singapore Economic Review, ICFAI Journal of Applied Finance (India) and ICFAI Journal of Applied Economics (India). His papers also appear in the Technical Analyst, a UK professional magazine.
